BRIDGE Program Summer Intern

Wigdan joins us this summer as a Brigham Research in Infectious Disease and Global Engagement (BRIDGE) intern. Wigdan is a rising junior at Duke University pursuing a double major in Biology and Global Health. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge in infectious disease and contributing to the field of research and medicine. This summer, Wigdan is working with Dr. Eric Burton to investigate the role of latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) in preventing ferroptosis in response to lipid peroxidation.
